Mission Statement: Sugarloaf Conservancy was formed to protect and enhance the quality of life in Frederick County by education on issues related to our environment. Currently our primary focus is opposing the PATH project. Sugarloaf Conservancy continues to support the use of HVDC underground technology for long distance transmission lines – but ONLY where a need for a transmission line can be shown.After additional factors came to light, we modified our position, and as a result, we now oppose the PATH project based on the following: No Need for PATH |
